Škoda Auto’s company policy is a statement from the senior management on the intentions and principles based on the corporate strategy. The principles relate to quality, environmental protection, information security and occupational health and safety.
The efficiency and suitability of the integrated management system is checked annually in an audit conducted by an external certified company. Adherence to the requirements of the international ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001 standards is documented by valid certificates issued by an accredited certifying authority.
The ISO 9001 quality management system certificate is one of the conditions for the car type approval required by the EU’s lawmakers and the majority of other markets where we distribute cars. We are not allowed to sell our cars without type approval and a valid certificate.
Škoda is responsible for production plants in the Czech Republic - Mladá Boleslav, Kvasiny, Vrchlabí and in India - Pune, Aurangabad. At both companies Škoda Auto a.s. in the Czech Republic and Škoda Auto Volksvagen India Private Limited in India we are holders of the following certificates. In 2021, we plan to extend ISO 50001 certification to the plant in Aurangabad.

The primary goal of the EnMS is to follow through on commitments made under corporate policy and to implement measures necessary to reduce the energy requirements of buildings, machinery and facilities. The introduction of the international standard should result in reduced greenhouse gas emissions and other related environmental impacts. An added benefit is the cut in energy costs.
The environmental management system, which emphasizes the principles of compliance according to the Group methodology, is in Škoda Auto a.s. certified according to EN ISO 14001. The system is part of an integrated management system. The certified ECMS applies to the activities of the Mladá Boleslav, Kvasiny and Vrchlabí plants. The scope of the certificate is as follows: Development, production, sale and service of motor vehicles and alternative propulsion vehicles, including digital services, components and tools. Production and dispatch of disassembled cars - SKD / CKD. Sales of original parts and accessories.
The QMS audit is an evaluation of the compliance of actual practices with the requirements for a quality management system defined by ISO 9001 and VDA 6.1 and 6.4, as described in the IMS manual and related documentation. The QMS audit is also a component of IMS audits.
